General Accountant

Responsibilities: This role will be supporting the full spectrum of finance and activities of Axinan Vietnam. The candidate should come with solid accounting and tax experience preferably from industries related to insurance/insurance agency/fintech/ecommerce. This is a crucial role to ensure that our fast-growing business in Vietnam is recorded and reported on a timely and accurate basis. The scope includes but is not limited to the following: Accounting: ● Assist in the implementation of accounting systems, systems the Group is embarking; ● Manage day to day accounting; ensure all transactions recorded accurately & timely; ensure payments on time; ● Month-end reporting: o Review and check all accruals, prepaid expenses booked precisely; o Review financial package (TB, BS, P/L, CF), explanation of changes and ensure all the reports submitted within the deadline; o Review Balance Sheet accounts reconciliation to ensure Balance Sheet presented correctly; o Be involved in the monthly reconciliation of sales data with external parties, ensure timely, accurate and complete billing o Focus on AR aging and monthly cashflow reporting for management purposes ● Year-end Reporting: o Review all cut-off transactions, provision (if any) at the end of fiscal year; o Work with external auditors to ensure the accurate, reliable & timely audit reports in VAS & Group reports; Internal Control: • Maintain, monitor and comment the internal control system to minimize risks, protect company assets, ensure accuracy of financial records, promote business efficiency, and encourage adherence to the company policies, rules, regulations, and laws. Tax issue: • Collaborate both internally and externally to resolve business issues and ensuring correct tax treatments are applied; • Check all the tax declaration forms to ensure they are prepared correctly per applicable laws & regulations and submitted timely; • Take main responsibility for tax audits and maintain relationship with tax authorities.

● Bachelor’s degree in accounting and having CA certification. ● 9+ working experience in accounting and at least 5 years at the same position. ● Preferably experience from the insurance/fintech/ecommerce related industry ● Proficient in MS Excel and other MS Office applications ● Strong communication and interpersonal skills, good at English ● Hands on and excellent attention to details with a control centric mindset ● Strong sense of responsibility and able to work with tight timelines. ● Proficiency in tax filings, documentations and control and strong knowledge of regulatory laws, tax code changes
