Chief Accountant

- Manage and review all accounting activities to ensure compliance with Vietnamese

- Accounting Standards (VAS), tax laws, and company regulations.

- Build, maintain, and enhance the internal accounting system to ensure consistency, accuracy, and effective operation across the organization and subsidiaries (if any).

- Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, including consolidated financial reports, and provide management reports to support strategic decision-making.

- Ensure proper and on-time submission of all tax reports (VAT, PIT, CIT, etc.), manage tax payments, and work directly with tax authorities during audits and inspections.

- Monitor and control company expenditures, review payment documents, and ensure compliance with approved budgets, financial policies, and tax regulations.

- Control revenue recognition, oversee invoicing and collections, ensure interest on late payments is properly calculated and collected, and enforce compliance with payment terms.

- Organize and assign tasks to accounting staff, develop training plans, and mentor the team to ensure up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and accounting standards.

- Work with auditors to complete the annual audit, and maintain effective relationships with tax authorities, banks, legal advisors, and internal departments. Ensure all accounting data is recorded accurately, completely, and on time across all reporting periods, with proper review and approval of journal entries and transactions.

- Propose improvements in accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting systems. Execute additional tasks assigned by the Board of Directors.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields; must hold a Chief Accountant Certificate as required by regulations.

- At least 5 years of experience as a Chief Accountant.

- Proven experience in preparing consolidated financial statements

- Strong understanding of Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS), tax regulations, cost control, budgeting, and audit procedures.

- Team leadership, financial analysis, proficient in Excel and accounting software (ERP experience is a plus).

- Honest, detail-oriented, responsible, proactive in process improvement, and able to collaborate effectively across departments.
