Description As a Chief Accountant, your main responsibilities will include: * Preparing and analyzing financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations. * Managing the overall accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes. * Developing and maintaining financial policies and procedures to enhance efficiency. * Coordinating audits and ensuring timely submission of required financial reports. * Overseeing tax declarations and ensuring compliance with local tax regulations. * Providing financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making processes. * Monitoring cash flow and managing budgets effectively. * Leading and mentoring the accounting team to achieve departmental goals. Profile A successful Chief Accountant should have: * A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA is highly desirable. * Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial regulations. * Proficiency in financial software and tools. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. * Ability to lead a team and communicate effectively.
