Chief of Product Development & Processes (Cpdp)

Role Overview

The Chief of Product Development & Processes (CPDP) will lead the innovation, process development, and quality strategy for Nextevo’s eco-fiber and textile product lines. This role oversees fiber blending with yarn and fabric development, the mechanical fiber opening process and QA/QC operations to ensure our materials meet global performance standards for sustainability, durability, and comfort.

The CPDP will collaborate closely with internal teams, supply chain partners, and global brand clients to turn sustainable fiber innovations into scalable commercial products.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead product development of pineapple leaf fiber (PALF) and other natural fibers for woven, circular knit, and nonwoven applications.

• Oversee and continuously improve the mechanical fiber opening and cleaning process to achieve optimal fiber quality and spinnability.

• Manage product development team (PD Manager, PD Executive), Production Supervisor, and QA/QC function.

• Develop and implement standard testing and QA/QC protocols for fiber, yarn, and fabric evaluation.

• Support commercialization of new products and ensure alignment with market trends in apparel, home textiles, interiors, and footwear.

• Work closely with sales and customer technical teams to translate market needs into technical solutions.

• Guide innovation projects, blending trials, and sustainable material improvements across the value chain.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Textile Engineering, Material Science, or related discipline.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in textile R&D, fiber/yarn/fabric development, or process engineering.

• Strong understanding of spinning, weaving, knitting, and finishing technologies.

• Hands-on experience with natural fibers or sustainable material innovation is highly valued.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.

• A team player is a must

• Fluent in English (both spoken and written) besides Vietnamese. Mandarin speaking will be a plus
