CNC Plant Manager

The CNC Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the LEMBAK VIETNAM manufacturing plant that utilizes Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines for a variety of metal components/assemblies. The Plant Manager ensures that all processes are efficient, safe, and productive, while also meeting quality and customer satisfaction standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plant Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the plant, including production scheduling, equipment maintenance, and inventory management.

• Production Planning: Plan and schedule production to meet customer demand, while minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency.

• CNC Machine Management: Ensure that CNC machines are properly maintained, calibrated, and operated to produce high-quality products.

• Quality Control: Ensure the QA/QC activity has developed, Implemented, and is maintaining quality control processes to ensure that products meet customer specifications and industry standards.

• Safety and Environmental: Ensure that the plant operates in a safe and environmentally responsible manner, complying with all relevant regulations and standards.

• Team Management: Lead and manage a team of production staff, including CNC operators, supervisors, and maintenance personnel.

• Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.

• Budgeting and Cost Control: Manage the plant’s budget and costs, including labor, materials, and overhead expenses.

• Customer Relations: Build and maintain relationships with customers to ensure that their needs are met and that they are satisfied with the plant’s products and services.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, business, or manufacturing.

• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in a manufacturing or production management role, with at least 5 years of experience in a CNC plant management role.

• English language – speaking, reading, and writing.

• MUST HAVE: Excellent understanding and experience of Production Planning and Launch processes.

o Develop a production plan to satisfy customer demand.

o Provide the plant with a production plan consistent with the plant capacity and sales forecast.

o Closely monitor the production process to ensure that production orders are completed on time and within budget.

o Monitor inventory levels and provide production status updates to management.

o Investigate production problems, analyze root causes, and provide solutions.

o Ensure that production materials are available, and equipment is maintained to run smoothly without interruption or risk of damage.

• Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of production staff.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

• Knowledge: Strong knowledge of CNC machines, manufacturing processes, and quality control procedures.

• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as ISO 9001.
