Collection Analytics Supervisor

Collection Analytics Supervisor plays a key role in reporting development and performance analysis to optimize Collection portfolio results.

1. Routine/ Ad hoc tasks on Collection portfolio management (80%):

• Interpret data, analyze results using excel/ SAS/ SQL and provide on-going reports. Together with other team members, regularly enhance SAS script and performance of automated Collection MIS reports, ad-hoc analysis. (10%)

• Regularly monitor the Collection portfolio to ensure delivering highest portfolio performance. Work on data collection systems/ Management Information System (MIS), data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality. (10%)

• Understand and conduct ad-hoc and on-going analysis/tests related to collection strategies and collection portfolio performance. (10%)

• Coordinate with other related functions to implement strategic changes in Collection Operation, including technical development with IT. (10%)

• Cooperate with testing team to ensure the accurate implementation from analytical strategies to operation, ensuring to enhance strategies during pilot period and prior the deployment in the entire Collection Operation. (10%)

• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities / forecasting trends and raising alerts when necessary. (10%)

• Perform special analytics projects and other duties as assigned, able to deliver accurate results within expected deadlines, apply sound control processes into daily/weekly/monthly processes to effectively identify, assess, and manage collection performance. (10%)

• Provide analytical and data support in the design and review of strategy tests and current operations, analyze monthly operating results and monthly variances; identify problems and research potential recommendations for corrective actions, perform portfolio analytics, special projects, drill -down analysis and other duties as needed. (10%)

2. Self-development and other(s): (20%)

• Self-trained and join in SVFC’s training courses for self-development, apply in daily works. (10%)

• Comply with SVFC’s regulations and Collection policy. (10%)

1. Education: BS or BA/ College in Finance, Statistics/Math, Computer Science, MIS or related field.

2. Minimum Experience

• 2-3+ years related work experience in Banking and Financial Institutions.

• Experience and knowledge of consumer financing industry and collection as a preferred.

3. Knowledge

• Having knowledge of SAS, Oracle, SPSS, R is a plus.

• Strong knowledge of Excel, strong analytical skills and practical experience working with large datasets with SAS and/or SQL knowledge, attention to detail and accuracy.

4. Skills

• Good analytical skills, good at visualizing MIS/ dashboard, strong in numbers, fluent in both Vietnamese and English.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to work under pressure in a performance-oriented environment and can handle multi-task, detail-oriented to perform tasks quickly and efficiently, able to work independently as well as a team player.
