Commercial Finance Supervisor

Main Purpose

Perform financial planning and analysis, delivery finance reporting by brand, channel, and region, and finance business partner through business case development and performance tracking to support decision-making

Job Description

- Provide end-to-end financial planning, reporting, and performance analysis, including Net Sales estimates, Profit & Loss models, and commercial finance reports by brand, channel, and region to support budgeting, forecasting, commercial reviews, and business decision-making

Most important

- Review dimensions posted in ERP, value entries report, 2nd sale report…. on monthly basis to ensure accurate input data for reporting and allocation logic can handle. Coordinate with cost owner and business partner of Sale, trade marketing, brand marketing in this topic. Identify issues, build plan for and coordinate the correction

- Rank in order of importance

- Based on data from ERP and Sale DMS monthly, arrange cost allocation for financial analysis, ensure the allocation logic is logical, close to market development and fully complied

- Support in preparing monthly gross brand contribution, regional contribution, channel contribution for budget/estimate and commercial review.

- Support in preparing golden triangle, Net sale by channel, Price-Volume-Mix (PVM) analysis, 9 grid update for budget/estimate and commercial review.

- Monitor and analyze the performance of Contracted customers and MOFT contribution, identify underperforming outlets or accounts, and collaborate with Trade and Commercial teams to implement action plans for performance improvement or termination

- Act as a finance business partner by building business cases, tracking promotional performance, and delivering financial insights to support key commercial initiatives and strategic decisions

- Prepare Abacus report to analyze SKU performance and propose the tail to be cut on quarterly basis

- Review and improve master data for reporting purpose. Ensure data are reconciled between ERP/DMS/Sale system and CMS

Least important

• The candidate should be able to work as finance business partner with Commercial team, have good insight on nature of commercial activities as well as commercial Finance business's planning. In specific:

• 5+ years’ experience of business finance or other relevant experience, combining both from auditor and corporate.

• High proficiency in financial modelling techniques

• Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions,

• Strong analytical and data gathering skills. Experience processing data with Power Query, Power BI, Power automate are advantage

• Good business acumen

• Educational requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting. Work certificate like ACCA, CFA… is plus
