Commercial Inspection Manager

Review and verify contractors’ and vendors’ payment applications (interim/final payments), ensuring accuracy of quantities, unit rates, contract terms, and actual work progress.

Analyze and validate variation orders, commercial claims, and additional cost requests; provide assessments and recommendations for appropriate action.

Audit and monitor cost reports, project budgets, and cash flow reports, ensuring consistency with actual site performance and commercial records.

Support the review and verification of contract terms, amendments, commercial agreements, acceptance certificates, and negotiation records when applicable.

Coordinate with other departments including technical teams, finance, legal, and quantity surveying to validate data and maintain commercial alignment.

Conduct internal commercial inspections or reviews as requested by management to assess compliance with procedures and completeness of documentation.

Assist in preparing documents and evidence for internal/external audits, including reports to project owners, investors, or executive management.

Stay updated with relevant laws, standards, and policies, especially regarding construction contracts, payment regulations, and financial reporting standards.

Maintain proper documentation and filing systems, ensuring traceability and adherence to internal audit/compliance standards.

Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, Commercial Management, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum 7 years of experience in contract management, quantity surveying, or commercial control in large construction or infrastructure projects.

Strong understanding of contracts, local construction law, and procurement/payment regulations.

Excellent skills in data analysis, contract interpretation, and commercial reasoning.

Detail-oriented, critical thinker, and capable of making independent professional assessments.

Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and commercial tools is a plus.
