• Ensure that the teams are able to focus on value-adding tasks and have quick access to relevant insights by playing a critical role in the streamlining and optimization of relevant processes, whenever possible. Summarize and provide insight from trade insight to monthly reports. Deliver timely feedback and insights from the marketplace (customers and sales) to company management.
• Collaborate with and assist the sales team in evaluating and refining the sales strategy (growth strategy, segmentation, targeted offerings, RTM).
• Collaborate with other departmental leaders to ensure coherence and efficient implementation and operation.
• Delivers timely and comprehensive management reports to effectively evaluate sales progress and performance. Proposes initiatives or frameworks to improve sales operations and facilitates acknowledgement and feedback for stakeholders.
• The individual works closely with other functional units to integrate their components into the sales management system, ensuring alignment, synergy, and optimal resource utilization, especially in forecasting.
• Assess the opportunity gap concerning physical availability in relation to checkout penetration, shelf share, and out-of-stock instances; collaborate closely with the field sales team to devise strategies for seizing business opportunities.
• Leverage an understanding of channel insights, consumer requirements, and behaviors to ascertain how the Field Force can best exploit this information.
• Utilize company-specific tools and frameworks to improve both business insights and understanding of consumer, shopper, and customer competition.
• Summarize and analyze trade insights for monthly reports. Deliver prompt feedback and insights from the market (sales and customers) to company management.
• Facilitate the streamlining and optimization of pertinent processes, when possible, prioritizing value-adding activities and expeditious access to relevant insights for the teams. • Assess and formulate the incentive and reward structure, in conjunction with key performance indicators, to align with organizational priorities and cultivate a high-performance culture. Act as the custodian for sales, Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE), Sales Force Automation (SFA), and daily operational processes to enhance sales efficiency.
• Engage with the sales team to develop and refine territory design, sales force size, structure, and deployment. Engage with the support team to identify performance shortcomings and execute improvement strategies.
• Collaborate with sales and IT departments to optimize and enhance current SFA systems to improve sales force productivity and to identify opportunities for productivity enhancement through new solutions.
• Develop, guide, and supervise the SFE and SFA teams. Enable team members to advance their development through coaching, educational, and experiential opportunities.
• Propose, lead, and manage execution of SFE, SFA, Operation team annual strategy/plans and initiatives to ensure achievement of defined goals.
