Our Story

Company Introduction

VK is a multi-disciplinary architectural and engineering design practice. Founded in 1952 and headquartered in Belgium, VK provides healthcare design services across Europe and Asia.

VK’s expertise covers a wide range of healthcare facilities, including; hospitals, rehabilitation centres, mental health centres and older person housing and care facilities.

VK has extensive experience of working for both private and public sector healthcare clients, and of both the planning, design and development of new hospital campuses on greenfield sites and the re-planning, extension and renovation of existing inner-city hospitals.

VK has a strong portfolio of major projects under development, currently including two 500-1,000 bed hospitals under construction in Europe, two 1,000 bed hospitals under design and construction in Asia, and four more 500-1,000 bed hospitals under design in Europe, as well as other healthcare projects in both continents.
