• Help answer questions related to academic issues;
• Make recommendations on teaching methods, test formats, etc.
Academic support to Public & Specialized EFL Courses (CS) & OEA classes
• Design syllabus for new courses;
• Develop a test bank for placement tests, practice tests, mock tests;
• Help answer questions related to academic issues (from CS staff or parents);
• Conduct oral tests (placement tests, practice tests, mock tests);
• Grade writing test papers (placement tests, practice tests, mock tests);
• Propose formats of cultural events/activities;
• Chair parent meetings when needed;
Academic support to Cambridge English Exams & Education Partnerships (CEEP):
• Select, develop, evaluate and review textbooks and teaching materials (classes and clubs);
• Help answer questions related to academic issues (from CEEP or schools);
• Design assessment tests;
• Support Academic Manager in quality assurance and teacher evaluation (observe lessons, provide feedback, mark teaching);
• Support CEEP in advising on issues related to:
o Test formats, preparing test materials & preparing keys;
o Formats of cultural events/activities conducted at partner schools;
o Materials for assessment tasks (e.g. placement tests at the beginning of school years & proficiency tests at the end of school years);
• Propose necessary changes (teachers, textbooks, etc.) to ensure quality or to promote quality;
• Support the marking of test papers (especially of Lomonoxop school).
Others task:
• Advice staff of other departments in academic issues;
• Develop content for in-house training (CS, CEEP).
Yêu Cầu Công Việc
• Strong background in pedagogy, with a solid understanding of the benefits and risks of different teaching methods.
• Established track record in curriculum design and development for English Language Teaching
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Vietnamese and English
• Experience in working/teaching with leading English language schools or educational organizations
• A minimum experience of 7 years in curriculum, pedagogy, and learning experience design is desirable
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to balance multiple priorities and manage deadlines;
• Constructive team player in multicultural environment
• Willingness to upskill as required by the tasks to be performed – corresponding measures are agreed with management;
