Continuous Improvement (CI) Manager / Giám Đốc Cải Tiến

The Lean Manager is responsible for driving and implementing lean manufacturing principles and practices across the organization's operations. This role will lead the development and execution of lean initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance the overall manufacturing process. The Lean Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement, implement lean methodologies, and sustain a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute the company's lean manufacturing strategy, aligning it with the overall business objectives.

2. Conduct value stream mapping, process analysis, and root cause investigations to identify waste and inefficiencies in the manufacturing process.

3. Implement lean tools and techniques, such as 5S, kaizen, and TPM, to optimize production workflows and eliminate non-value-added activities.

4. Train and coach manufacturing team members on lean principles, methodologies, and problem-solving techniques.

5. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless integration of lean initiatives across departments (e.g., production, quality, maintenance, supply chain, etc.).

6. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the impact of lean implementations and drive continuous improvement.

7. Analyze data, generate reports, and provide recommendations to leadership on lean program performance and optimization opportunities.

8. Collaborate with other departments (e.g., engineering, quality, procurement) to incorporate lean principles into product design, supplier management, and new process development.

9. Serve as a change agent, fostering a lean mindset and a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.

10. Stay up-to-date with the latest lean manufacturing trends, best practices, and industry benchmarks, and adapt the company's lean program accordingly.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.

- Minimum 5 years of experience in a lean manufacturing or continuous improvement role, with a proven track record of successfully implementing lean initiatives.

- Excellent presentation skills & communication skills in both oral and written English and/or Chinese

- Extensive knowledge of lean principles, methodologies, and tools, such as 5S, kaizen, kanban, PDCA, and Six Sigma.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and develop effective solutions.

- Excellent project management and change management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organizational transformation.

- Proficient in data analysis, reporting, and performance measurement, using relevant software and tools.

- Effective communication and training skills, with the ability to engage and inspire employees at all levels.

- Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across the organization.
