Corporate Legal Officer

- Draft, negotiate, review application files, contracts, corporate documents, intellectual property rights, labor matters, licensing procedures.

- Provide legal advice/support to other internal departments on various legal issues such as corporate operations, purchasing, hygiene and security, banking and financial operations, promotion programs, environment, trademarks etc

- Prepare application files for obtaining enterprise registration certificates, investment certificates, retail licenses and any other administrative authorizations which is necessary for establishments and operations of companies and supermarket/commercial center in Vietnam; take charge and follow up on such licensing procedure.

- Prepare corporate files such as meeting minutes, Board of Directors and Members’ Councils resolutions, organization charts, powers of attorneys and other corporate documents.

- Prepare and participate in meetings/negotiations with authorities, landlords, investors, partners, suppliers etc.

- Make translations in English and Vietnamese languages if needed.

- Other activities according to job requirements and assigned by the Senior Legal Manager.

Education: Bachelor of law (Legal Practice Certificate and/or Master of law is an additional asset).

Experience : 3- 5 years of legal professional practice (reputable Vietnam law firms, foreign law firms, MNC in Vietnam).

Language: native in Vietnamese, fluent in English.

Office skills: proficient in MS Office.

Attitude: Hardworking, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Functional skills:

- Professional background in retail and commercial sector.
