KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Checking costing for all key projects, set costing target and negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best target cost.
* Identification of new material possibilities and developments
* Management of project activity and oversight of trials and launch activity
* Sourcing and delivery of trial materials both functional and fit for use
* Liaison with suppliers and communication of functional requirements of materials as well as ensure of efficient costings
* Technical approval of specifications prior to release for use
* Technical support to factory operations to resolve and improve material performance in use
* Planning and execution of factory trials related to Packaging project delivery
* Ensure the development tracking system are updated properly with new projects
* Coordinating Sourcing and Development department’s activities
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
* Efficient cost for all projects
*Timely supply of information and materials to support product briefing and development processes.
* Successful execution of factory trials
* Management of activity tasks to deadline
* On-time launch and timely achievement of products costing and success
* Timely management of material non-conformances & improvements

*** Essentials:
• Packaging background; university degree (or equivalent) educated in packaging technology, design, manufacturing engineering or related discipline
• Experience in costing analysis and costing negotiation
• Technical and machine-related skills
• Experience of the application of technical knowledge and understanding in manufacturing environment
• Inquisitive by nature and willingness to look for optimum solutions
• Good communication
• Open, honest and trustworthy
• Able to work independently and with initiative
• Good attention for details
• Ability to work well within teams and manage team.
• Computer literacy
• Fluent in Vietnamese and English. Ability to communicate in Mandarin Chinese will be advantage.
• Priority given to qualified candidates who can start working immediately.

• Experience in consumer food packaging sector
• Experience of project management
• Demonstrable workload management skills
• Quality systems and Compliance knowledge & experience
