Country Manager - Furniture

To align with the expansion plan in Asia, our client is seeking for a country leader to manage Sourcing, QC and Product development.

Description

The successful candidate will report to CEO and be responsible for:

* Develop and implement sourcing strategies to support the company's goals and objectives.

* Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers in Southeast Asia, ensuring they meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.

* Oversee the entire supply chain process, from supplier selection and negotiation to product development and delivery.

* Collaborate with the product development team to ensure new products are sourced efficiently and meet design specifications.

* Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and supply chain improvements.

* Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and conditions.

* Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.

* Lead and mentor a team of sourcing professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

* Work closely with other departments, including procurement, quality control, and logistics, to optimize the sourcing process.

* Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sourcing activities and performance.

Profile

The ideal candidate should hold the following criteria:

* 10 years+ of experience in sourcing and supply chain management, with a focus on garden decor and home decor products.

* Proven experience with product development and supplier management in Southeast Asia, particularly in Vietnam and Cambodia.

* Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

* Excellent understanding of supply chain processes, quality control, and regulatory compliance.

* Ability to analyze data and make strategic sourcing decisions.

* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Chinese speaking will be a big plus.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
