Job Description

JOB OVERVIEW

Develop and optimize adequate credit risk strategy, policies and implementation relating to the whole credit journey, from users' acquisition to debt collections and cross-selling

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review and propose improvements for decisioning process and debt collections process in each product
• Initiate and coordinate credit changes, credit tests, expected loss models, new product credit policies and processes, which are in line with standardized governance from mother bank
• Prepare the risk assessment for new product development proposals
• Establish minimum requirement check list as mandatory procedure/monitoring through the onboarding and decisioning process
• Build and maintain strong, constructive cooperation with product management, and business development to implement the credit risk management framework efficiently
• Closely working with mother bank to align on portfolio, modelling and debt collections governance, deploy on a regular basis the risk dashboards, implement EL models and risk scoring models
• Closely working with Debt collections team from mother bank to understand current infrastructure and governance, propose the customization for each product and ensure the improvement of debt collections performance
• Achieve credit benchmarks, including cost of risk targets, set in line with financial return goals (risk-adjusted) that set out short and long-term expectations.
• Provide necessary input to / Biz development team in new products/ new features development
• Closely working with mother banks' modelling team to perform predictive models back test/ validation
• Perform SQL data mining, ad-hoc analyses, customize statistical analysis of the portfolio performance
• Advice to Fraud risk management team the key fraud risk controls and practices
• Coordinate with Data Analytics team to review and deploy Digital footprints roadmap
• Coordinate with Tech team to perform business analyst for any changes of Cake infrastructures that related to risk management
• Develop, manage and motivate a team of Risk analysts and experts
• Promote Best practice within Digital banking market
• Participate in other relevant projects assigned by Line Manager

Job Requirements

• University's degree/ Master ‘s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance Banking
• Experience of end-to-end Credit Risk for consumer finance, fintech, risk transformation at least 3 years is a must
• Experience of Risk scoring at least 3 years is a must
• A good knowledge of Digital Banking Products is a bonus
• Knowledge of implementation of digital risk systems
• Strong in BI/ Analytics
• Advanced mathematics, econometric or machine learning is a bonus
• Self-motivated and goal driven
• Adaptable, dynamic and flexible, able to work under challenging deadlines
• Hardworking, persistent, highly trustworthy, accurate and loyal
• Hands on multi tasks to achieve team goals
