Curriculum Development Manager - Online ELT Programs

❑ CURRICULUM AND CONTENT DEVELOPMENT

• Curriculum Development: Design, develop and oversee the structure of online English learning programs aligned with learning objectives and proficiency levels.

• Content Preparation: Collaborate with academic leads and content creators to design lesson frameworks or learning pathways and ensure all learning materials align with CEFR, assessment rubrics and learning objectives.

• Develop assessment strategies and tools to measure student learning outcomes and progress and analyze assessment data to inform instructional decisions and curriculum enhancements.

❑ PLATFORM OR APP INTEGRATION

• Design and Integration: Organize and curate content on digital learning platforms for both students and teachers, ensuring intuitive access and navigation. Oversee the integration of curriculum content into the online learning platform or app.

• Content & platform management: Develop and maintain content maps, templates, and program documentation. Work with UX/UI designers and EdTech developers to enhance user experience, accessibility, and functionality. Monitor content performance and learning analytics to guide updates and improvements.

❑ QUALITY ASSURANCE AND CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

• Quality assurance: Establish quality benchmarks for online learning materials and teaching resources. Monitor and maintain the quality and accuracy of the curriculum content, ensuring it adheres to educational standards and best practices.

• Progress Tracking and Assessment: Design and implement mechanisms for tracking and assessing learner progress within the learning app. Collaborate with the development team to incorporate features such as scoring systems, level progression, achievements, and performance analytics. Monitor learner data and usage patterns to identify areas of improvement and optimize the learning experience.

• Ongoing Maintenance and Updates: Regularly review and update the digital content to reflect emerging trends, changes in curriculum requirements, and advancements in language teaching. Address any technical issues, bugs, or compatibility concerns that may arise, ensuring a seamless and uninterrupted learning experience for the users.

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, Education, or a related field.

• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in ELT curriculum or program management; at least two years of experience with online or blended learning environments.

• Technical skills: Strong understanding of digital pedagogy, instructional design, and CEFR-based learning outcomes. Experience working with learning platforms and familiarity with UX/UI design principles.

• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with both academic and technical stakeholders.

• Language: fluent English
