Customs Handling Supervisor

Overall job purpose:

• Executes customs entries and performs sibilitie pro

• Conducts classification of goods based on goo info provided by the customers

• Executes customs procedure for import – export shipments in type of Air, Ocean, Border truck, Domestic or other types

• Costing of trucking and customs clearance

• Works on post clearance modifications

• Performs archiving of customs documents

• Updates customs shipment information

• Trucking/ transport arrangement

• Manage all daily works related to customs formalities and handling operation

• Making daily report

• Other requests appointed by Manager

Main tasks & key respon-sibilities:

• Executes customs entries and performs customs security filings in adherence to internal procedures and latest local customs regulations

• Conducts classification of goods based on information provided by the customers

• Ensures completeness and correctness of paperwork

• Works on post clearance modifications

• Performs archiving of customs documents based on legal requirements

• Updates Customs shipment information and physical status

• Resolves customer issues, handles and solves incidents (eg. escalations, disputes)

• Costing of trucking and customs clearance

• Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues that may arise during the transport.

• Communicate with clients to provide updates on shipment status and address any inquiries or concerns.

• Maintain accurate records of shipments, customs documents, and transportation activities.

• Manage all daily works related to customs formalities, handling and trucking operation

Reporting lines: Industrial Project Manager

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

• Proven experience in customs clearance and transportation operations in the logistics industry.

• Knowledge of customs regulations and procedures.

• Brokerage license (if applicable)

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
