Job Description

1. Data Analysis & Business Insights

• Conduct in-depth analysis of user behavior, conversion funnels, retention cohorts, and key business metrics to identify growth opportunities and pain points.

• Perform ad-hoc analysis to answer critical business questions from cross-functional teams including Product, Marketing, Sales, and Operations.

• Proactively ask questions, validate assumptions, and dig deeper to uncover root causes behind data trends.

• Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights that drive business impact.

2. Reporting & Dashboard Development

• Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports to track KPIs across the organization (daily/weekly/monthly).

• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality across all reporting systems.

• Document metric definitions, calculation logic, and data sources clearly for stakeholders.

3. Cross-functional Collaboration

• Partner closely with Product, Marketing, Operations, and Leadership teams to understand business problems and translate them into data-driven solutions.

• Present insights and recommendations in a clear, impact-focused manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Participate in planning and review sessions, contributing a data-driven perspective to strategic discussions.

4. Data Quality & Process Improvement

• Maintain data discipline by ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability of all analyses.

• Identify opportunities to improve data collection, processing, and reporting workflows.

• Prioritize requests based on business impact and organizational goals.

1. Experience & Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience as a Data Analyst, BI Analyst, Business Analyst, or equivalent role.

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Business, or related fields.

• Experience working in SaaS, SMB, Retail, or E-commerce environments is a plus.

2. Technical Skills

• Strong SQL proficiency including JOINs, CTEs, subqueries, and window functions.

• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills: Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, logical functions (IF, AND, OR), and data validation.

• Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Metabase, or Looker is preferred.

• Knowledge of Python (pandas, numpy) for data manipulation is a plus.

3. Analytical & Soft Skills

• Strong analytical thinking with the ability to ask the right questions and challenge assumptions.

• Detail-oriented with high data discipline; sensitive to anomalies and inconsistencies in data.

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requests and priorities simultaneously.

• Strong communication skills; able to present insights clearly to non-technical audiences.

• Focus on delivering impact-driven insights, not just reporting numbers.
