Data Analytics Senior Officer (Internal Audit)

We are seeking a Data Analytics to strengthen our Internal Audit function through data-driven insights and automation.

This role bridges the gap between data analytics and audit intelligence — turning numbers into narratives that shape smarter assurance and governance decisions.

1/ Develop and maintain interactive dashboards (Power BI / Tableau) to support audit analytics and risk insights.

2/ Conduct data extraction, transformation, and cleansing from core systems (claims, sales, HR, finance, etc.).

3/ Build and implement anomaly detection models and early warning indicators for key business operations to identify unusual patterns and emerging risks.

4/ Integrate analytics into audit procedures, including automated testing, smart sampling, and continuous auditing.

5/ Collaborate with auditors to embed analytics in Agile Audit and Continuous Monitoring initiatives.

6/ Explore and apply AI tools or models to improve data analysis efficiency and insight generation.

7/ (Bonus) Design or train AI agents to automate routine data analysis, risk monitoring, or report generation tasks.

8/ The accountabilities and time allocated for work portfolio will be customized depending on the business priorities periodically, and direct manager’s assignment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics, or Finance.

• 2–4 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Internal Audit with data exposure.

• Proficient in SQL and Power BI (or Tableau); advanced in Excel / Power Query.

• Hands-on with Python (Pandas, NumPy) or KNIME / Alteryx is an advantage.

• Understanding of Internal Audit principles (IIA standards) and data governance concepts.

• Experience or strong interest in AI-driven data analysis and automation.
