Data Engineer (Open for Junior/Middle)

1) Goal of the Position This position was created to support the organization’s digitalization journey by enabling robust data infrastructure for smart factories of the future. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and building scalable, reliable data pipelines, integrating diverse data sources, and supporting digital applications. Your work will help lay the foundation for advanced data and AI-driven initiatives across regional and global projects. You will join an international and motivated digitalization team, working on large-scale Data and GenAI solutions that shape the organization’s future operations. Key Responsibilities • Design, build, and maintain complex data pipelines to ingest, process, and transform structured and unstructured data at scale • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to gather data requirements and deliver effective, reliable data solutions • Develop and manage ETL/ELT processes, primarily using the Microsoft Azure data stack (including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric) • Ensure efficient data storage and retrieval by working with both SQL and NoSQL databases • Utilize your expertise in Python or Scala and advanced SQL to create performant, scalable data transformation logic • Support ongoing improvements in data infrastructure, reliability, and performance

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience) • Proven hands-on experience in data engineering • Proficiency in one or more programming languages: Python or Scala • Strong knowledge of SQL, with experience in both relational (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., Cosmos DB, MongoDB) databases • Experience working with ETL techniques and frameworks, such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, Azure AI Foundry, and Azure Data Factory • Familiarity with streaming and time-series data processing is a plus • Strong problem-solving skills, a collaborative mindset, and ownership mentality • Good English communication skills
