Data Project Management

Job Purpose

To analyze and lead various data-related projects that support the organization’s business growth and risk management, through data-driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify digital consumer banking business challenges, consult with business units (BUs), and propose data-driven solutions and strategies.

• Initiate and manage data analysis projects in collaboration with analysts and data scientists, covering:

+ Product/channel performance, customer journey, segmentation, and satisfaction to optimize sales, profitability, and customer experience.

+ Credit risk analysis, fraud detection, and collection optimization to reduce loss and NPL (Non-Performing Loans).

• Develop reports and dashboards on GCP Looker for BU and management insights.

• Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support BU decision-making.

• Oversee data services: research, tool evaluation, implementation, vendor coordination, and ongoing maintenance.

• Manage project timelines and maintain the business requirement backlog for the data team.

• Collaborate with the HQ data team on infrastructure, data mart development, innovative data initiatives, and advanced modeling projects.

**Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.

**Work Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in data analysis or project management, preferably in online lending or financial services.

**Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and Looker (Python is a plus).

• Strong analytical thinking and project management abilities.

• Experience in customer lifecycle, risk evaluation, and digital banking metrics.

**Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex insights to non-technical audiences.

• Highly detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy.

• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines and shifting priorities.

**Language Requirements:

• Proficient in Vietnamese and either English or Chinese.

**Certifications:

• A certificate in Data Analysis or related field is a plus.
