Database Administrator

Navigos Search's client is one of Vietnam’s leading corporations, specializing in telecommunications, information technology, and digital services nationwide. We are looking for Database Administrators who will: - Operate, monitor, and manage database systems, ensuring smooth operations and effective incident response and recovery. - Design and implement data backup and recovery plans, optimize system performance, manage load balancing, and ensure database security and reliability. - Plan, design, and deploy new database systems; maintain and upgrade existing ones. - Develop and enforce information security measures, policies, and operational procedures for database management. - Prepare periodic performance and status reports as required by management. - Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Education and Qualifications: - Degree: Bachelor’s degree in one of the following majors (full-time): Information Technology, Information Security, Computer Science, Computer Networks and Data Communications, Software Engineering, System Information, Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, IoT, IT Management, Applied Mathematics and Informatics, Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, or other equivalent majors relevant to the position. - Candidates from other fields may be considered if they have completed at least 80 IT-related credits during their undergraduate or postgraduate studies. - English proficiency: Ability to read, write, and communicate in English (TOEIC ≥ 450 or equivalent is preferred). - Preferred Certifications: International IT certifications such as Cisco, Juniper, Microsoft, Oracle, etc. Professional Skills and Expertise: - Solid understanding and hands-on experience in database administration (Oracle preferred). - Good knowledge of server systems and operating systems (Linux, Windows Server). - Familiarity with IT system operation procedures and governance frameworks. - Strong communication, work management, and accountability skills. Experience: - Minimum of 3 year of experience in database administration. - Prior experience managing Oracle databases is an advantage.
