Demand Planning Specialist (Hợp Đồng 1 Năm)

Main purpose of the position:

• Track demand changes, market activities, promotions or other volume, value driving events to develop effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns

• Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy

• Support in OnePlan project: data preparation, data mapping, system understanding and testing (E2E and UAT)

Department: Sales Operations/ Demand Planning

Job responsibilities:

• Execute the minimum mandatory standards of the Carlsberg SOP

• Secure an effective consensus and collaborative approach for the final forecast.

• Calculate Planning KPIs (Forecast Accuracy and Bias, and service KPIs) and analyse the levers driving the improvements.

• Provide demand data formatted into appropriate reports and feed them to other functions in time.

• Develop demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function.

• Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.

• Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions.

• Interact with sales, marketing, and customer finance to understand demand forecast drivers.

• Utilize a collaborative and consensus approach by working with Sales, Marketing and Customer Finance to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts.

• Collaborate with supply planning to ensure sufficient supply for ad-hoc demand.

• Use and maintain the Demand Planning software or MS office as the primary forecasting system tools

• Other tasks as assigned by Line Manager

• At least 3-year experience as a Demand Planner in FMCG company

• Strong business acumen and solid understanding of end-to-end planning process (demand, supply, inventory management, customer service)

• Good data analysis and detail orientation

• Good communication, presentation and influencing skill

• English Fluency

• MS Office: Advanced level

• University graduate (preferred major in Finance/Supply Chain Management/Logistics/Business Administration)
