Mô Tả Công Việc

Job Purpose:

The Demand Planning takes care of a reliable forecast and efficient S&OP processes. The outcome is to speed up the decision-making processes and business planning within Sales and Marketing. This has direct influence on the upper service levels and lower provisions. The important KPI’s for Demand Planning are Forecasting and Punctuality. The purpose is to continuously improve those KPIs to minimalize Out of Stock and write off.

Accountabilities:
Demand Planning: Generates and updates demand plans, combining statistical and commercial forecast (including NPI’s, promotions and events) in cooperation with Commercial department and other relevant stakeholders.
Statistical Forecast: Creates statistical forecast including differentiations, causal relationships, baseline/uplift, main drivers and demand patterns, seasonality, and trend changes.
Commercial Understanding: Incorporates customer and consumer behavior in the demand plan. When needed challenge the Commercial plans and assumptions based on historic performance and common sense. Initiates customer collaboration when possible.
Scenario Analysis: Generates and discusses alternative scenarios on the demand plan for the S&OP process, with clearly listed assumptions and risk assessment on volume and costs.
Demand Planning Process: Coordinates and monitors the demand planning processes, considering the interdependencies with supply planning and commercial activities.
Continuous Improvement: Initiates, implements and embeds improvements to demand planning processes and procedures and supports Total Productivity Management (TPM) initiatives.
Monitoring Forecast Performance: Monitors and analyses the demand planning KPI’s like forecast accuracy and bias. Discusses and supports improvement opportunities with the commercial department.
Management Information: Provides clear and accurate information on demand planning performance.
S&OP Process: Prepares the input for the relevant S&OP meetings.

Yêu Cầu Công Việc

Knowledge and Experience:
7 - 10 years of relevant experience. Preferably experience in one or more of following areas:
- Demand Planning, preferrably in FMCG industry.
- Planning and/or CS&L roles.
- Project management or active team member in supply chain planning projects.
- Knowledge of demand planning and S&OP (preferably experience on statistical models for Demand planning).
Good analytical skills.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Be able to convincingly present facts and figures.
Knowledge of the commercial and supply chain processes.
Able to work in autonomy and when needed cross functionally , good team player.
Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Local language + English both oral and written.
