Deputy Production Manager

The Deputy Production Manager supports the Production Manager in supervising and mentoring production staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, and monitoring performance within the production unit. The role is key in ensuring production quality control, process compliance, and continuous improvement across the production line.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Production Manager in daily operations and management of the production team.

• Mentor and supervise production staff to meet performance and quality targets.

• Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

• Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.

• Ensure quality control standards are implemented and maintained on the production line.

• Monitor compliance with safety, health, environmental, and company policies.

• Support implementation of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, or TQM initiatives if applicable.

• Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams to minimize downtime.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or a related field.

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, specifically in paper packaging factories or related functions.

• English proficiency in documenting & communication.

• Strong management and leadership skills.

• Proven ability to lead teams and drive performance.

• Analytical thinking with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.

• Familiarity with production metrics and quality assurance procedures.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

• Knowledge of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) or TQM (Total Quality Management) is a plus.
