Design Engineer (Steel Structure) - Ho Chi Minh Office

Core responsibilities:

• Prepare Quote Estimates, Design Package, Final Estimate within assigned schedule / standard Engg. cycle time. On time reply to advise requests.

• Ability to read, understand & apply major building codes, namely AISC, MBMA, AISI, ASCE 7 & UBC as related to building loading and structural analysis.

• A sufficient Prepare Quote Estimates, Design Package, Final Estimate within assigned schedule / standard Engg. cycle time. On time reply to advise requests.

• A sufficient knowledge of manufacturing practice.

• Coordinate with Detailing Engineers and Drafting Checkers.

• Plans to finish his work according to assigned schedules, and gives early warnings to the Group Supervisor if schedules can't be met.

• Corrects any errors found, and implements instructions provided by the Group Supervisor or Checker after his job has been checked.

Job requirements:

• University graduation from the field of Civil Engineering, or equivalent

• Working experience in Designing (pre-engineered steel building is preferable).

• Proficiency in SAP2000 and AutoCAD (Knowledge in STAAD, connection design applications is an advantage).

• Good English proficiency (all 4 skills)

• Hard working, careful, honest, commitment, result-oriented.

Working location:

Successful candidate will work at ZSV’s representative office, addressed at 3th Floor, Metro Tower, 667 Dien Bien Phu Street, Ward 25, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City.
