Duties and responsibilities:
The Design Expert ensures provides expertise in architecture drawings, feedback & review with consultants to ensure the design for the assigned sections met the required quality, aesthetic, legality standards, being cost efficient in both design and actual construction aspects.
• Develop work plan regarding the assigned design sections to manage the different phases from concept design into detailed design
• Draw the design & provide expertise feedback / review to design consultants regarding the assigned design sections, ensuring the design quality, progress, standards are met per the expectations of the investors, business / legal requirements
• Conduct site checking/ reviewing feasibility of the designs proposed by design consultants for the assigned design sections fit for the legal, approval requirements from government authority
• Conduct review & provide acceptance of the designs submitted by design consultant for the assigned design sections. Define & align any adjustment beyond the contract signed
• Submit payment request based on the deliverables accepted per contract signed & any other approved ad-hoc adjustments
• Coordinate across all relevant stakeholders to compile required design & documents at the assigned design sections for government agencies' approval, to ensure the legality of the project before construction commencement
• Explain the details of the approved designs across all the departments involved in construction delivery for the assigned design sections
• Conduct site checking per planned schedule. Suggest recommendations to mitigate design conflicts during construction delivery for the assigned design sections, ensuring the expected project progress, quality
• Define issues that required adjustments of the approved basic designs, suggest the adjustments to supervisor level
• Prepare the required documents, designs for re-approval process (if required) with government agencies

Requirements
• Bachelor Degree in Architecture / Urban Planning.
• 4-5 years of experience in architecture, urban planning or design management.
• 2 years of experience in similar position in the company with the same scale.
• Proficient in English.
• Must-have architecture background, can draw the design & provide expertise viewpoint.
• Preferred experience in Real Estate investment / development area. Having been through some phases / full of project lifecycle.
• Good understanding of design development / management
• Good understanding of planning, architecture and construction works.
• Knowledge of relevant legal rules & regulations.
• High ownership to complete the assigned areas with limited guidance
• Fair aesthetic sense in architecture, can verify good designs based on brief given
• Attention to details
• Good communication, teamwork skills
* Benefits:
• Annual leave (12 days/year).
