• We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building, deploying, and maintaining our technology infrastructure while working closely with Development and Operations teams to ensure efficient and reliable application development and deployment processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Build and maintain development, staging, and production environments

• Manage containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes

• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation

• Set up monitoring and alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)

• Monitor application and infrastructure performance

• Implement security best practices and manage credentials securely

• Automate build, test, and deployment processes

• Support development teams with deployment and troubleshooting

• Participate in incident response and post-mortem analysis

Basic Qualifications

• Domain/required skills and certifications - mandatory

• Minimum 1- 4 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering roles

• Proficiency in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

• Strong hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes

• Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or equivalent automation tools

• Working knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation

• Advanced Linux/Unix systems administration skills

• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell

• Strong Git knowledge and experience with branching strategies

• Experience with monitoring solutions like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack

• Understanding of DNS, load balancing, firewalls, and network security

Nice to have

• Professional certifications

• Languages (Japanese N2/German B2/…)

• Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd)

• Knowledge of GitOps workflows (ArgoCD, Flux)

• Experience with chaos engineering tools

• Database administration (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)

• Software development background (Java, Go, Node.js)

• Experience with compliance frameworks (SOC2, PCI DSS, ISO 27001)

• Knowledge of cost optimization strategies for cloud infrastructure

• Experience with observability tools (Jaeger, Zipkin, OpenTelemetry)
