DevOps Senior Leader ( Banking Experience )

● Architect, build, and maintain scalable and secure infrastructure from the ground up on Public Cloud.

● Design, develop, and manage CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless integration and continuous delivery.

● Enhance system performance by focusing on availability, reliability, scalability, and recoverability while optimizing costs..

● Implement and refine monitoring and alerting systems to ensure system health and proactive issue detection.

● Collaborate closely with product engineers to align infrastructure solutions with business needs and technical requirements.

● Innovate and integrate cutting-edge DevOps practices to enhance production stability and efficiency..

● Participate in an on-call rotation, including occasional night shifts, to guarantee 24/7 system availability and perform essential maintenance.

● Troubleshoot and resolve incidents across development, staging, and production environments promptly.

● Engage with the security team to enhance security practices and continuously improve your knowledge and skills in this area.

● Demonstrate a proactive and responsible approach to planning, execution, and problem-solving.

MUST HAVE

● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.

● At least 5 years of experience in DevOps role with a deep focus on AWS.

● Expertise in CI/CD tools and processes, particularly with GitLab CI and ArgoCD GitOps.

● Proficient in managing Kubernetes applications.

● Strong command of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, particularly with Terraform.

● Competence in scripting languages such as Python and Bash, etc

● Experience with monitoring tools and stacks, including Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK, etc.

● Experience with container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, etc.

NICE TO HAVE

● Have experience with other Cloud providers like GCP, Azure.

● Used to work with configuration management tools for DevOps tasks.

● Experience managing hybrid cloud or on-premise environments.

● Collaboration experience with security teams and ability to manage security-related tasks.

● Experience in self-hosting services like Kafka, Mongo, Elasticsearch, Prometheus stack, and Redis.
