Digital Graphic Design Assistant

Rodd & Gunn are looking for a dedicated and creative Digital Graphic Design Assistant, who is excited about all things graphic design, composition, colour and layout. The successful applicant will have an understanding of digital assets, digital platforms, size & resolution, motion and static artwork.

This position is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn and grow in a small, but hard-working team within a fast-paced environment across Rodd & Gunn and The Lodge Bar Group.

Reporting to the Head of Graphic Design & Content and assisting the Digital Graphic Designer & Content Creator, your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Creating finished artwork for monthly global digital & social platforms including:

o EDMs

o Homepages

o Instore Screens (motion & static)

o Social

o Digital

Assist in the supply of digital Season Changeover assets globally.

Re-sizing top level assets to a range of different sizes and resolutions across both motion and static assets.

Uploading content for instore digital screens in line with go live dates.

Crop images in conjunction to brand guidelines.

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

• Fluent conversational English, both written and verbal

• Great time management

• Ability to follow & understand brand guidelines.

• Strong English written and verbal communication.

• Attention to detail.

• Proficiency in InDesign CC, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator CC, Photoshop CC & Adobe Lightroom Classic.

• File, manage & supply all imagery for ecommerce website.

• Communicate with external agencies for post-production of ecommerce imagery.

Sound knowledge of:

• Photo editing

etching

retouching blemishes

cropping

• Premiere Pro video editing

• After effects

• File formats

• Static and video ratios & resolutions for digital output

• Layout Design & typography

Not required but looked upon favourably:

• Knowledge of Microsoft excel.

• Mac OSX platform.

The successful applicant will have a qualification in Graphic Design and have a working knowledge of digital/social platforms, video editing and image retouching.
