Digital IT Support Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION: Defines the purpose of the position as well as the main duties and responsibilities. This should be the main part of the job description and fully describe the objectives of the role.

Provide day-to-day technical support for our in-house supply chain systems, ensuring that the business users can perform their day-to-day functions as efficiently as possible whilst maintaining adherence to standard operating procedures & the IT strategy.

% OF TIME ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

40% - Deliver timely support for value chain systems across product development, order management, purchase orders, and manufacturing operations.

20% - Assist end-users with system-related inquiries and provide training when necessary.

20% - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement system enhancements and improvements.

10% - Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues.

10% - Ensure system documentation is up to date and accurate.

QUALIFICATIONS: Required qualifications needed to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position.

Education/Certifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Systems, Business, or a related field of study, or relevant professional experience.

Work Experience:

• 5 years or above experience with Supply Chain functional areas across: Product Development, Order Management, Inventory Management, Procurement, Manufacturing.

Skills/Competencies:

• Practical experience in SQL (Oracle or PostgreSQL) operations. Technical knowledge of AWS and Java is a plus.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to effectively handle demanding users.

• Proficiency in system troubleshooting and root cause analysis.

• Familiarity with integrating ERP and PLM systems with digital applications.
