Director, CIO & Solution Advisory

Role Summary

KPMG is seeking an experienced Director to lead our CIO & Solution Advisory practice, with a strong focus on AI-enabled transformation and mid-scale ERP implementation. In this senior role, you will partner with CIOs and boards to design and deliver technology strategies, oversee ERP deployment, and integrate AI and digital solutions to drive measurable business outcomes. You will also lead high-performing teams, expand client relationships, and shape KPMG’s offerings in this rapidly evolving space.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to CIOs and C-suite leaders, guiding IT strategy, digital transformation, and enterprise solution roadmaps.

• Advise on end-to-end ERP programmes, ensuring business alignment and value realization.

• Drive AI adoption and intelligent automation across core CIO functions and enterprise operations.

• Oversee delivery of multi-disciplinary consulting teams, ensuring excellence, governance, and compliance with KPMG standards.

• Develop KPMG’s solution offerings with alliance partners (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, etc.), integrating ERP, cloud, and AI capabilities.

• Grow the practice by expanding client accounts, driving business development, and achieving revenue targets.

• Mentor senior managers and consultants, fostering a culture of innovation, inclusion, and professional excellence.

• Represent KPMG as a thought leader in AI, ERP, and CIO advisory through client forums and industry events.

Qualifications & Experience

• 15+ years in technology consulting, CIO advisory, or enterprise IT leadership.

• Proven track record delivering mid-scale ERP transformations (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft).

• Deep expertise in AI, data analytics, and intelligent automation applied to enterprise solutions.

• Strong experience in IT operating models, governance, and enterprise architecture.

• Demonstrated ability to engage credibly with C-suite and board-level stakeholders.

• Commercial acumen with proven success in business development and practice growth.

• Prior experience in Big 4, global consultancy, or multinational enterprise preferred.
