o Ensures and provides flawless, upscale, professional and high-class guest service experiences as a role model and expertise in all Sales related matters.
o Oversees and manages the daily operations of the Sales department and ensures that all team members comply with service standards, departmental policies and operating procedures set by the hotel.
o Solicit group, individual and other business directly and jointly with others through the execution of action plans.
o Within established parameters quote and negotiate prices with customer representatives confirming reservations by letter and drawing up contracts; to close the transaction.
o Upon closing, coordinate and follow-up with the concerned resort departments to ensure delivery of exceptional guest services.
o Determine and recommend prospective customers by analyzing all available information, participating in and conducting customer interviews and preparing customer action plans.
o Train the sales team accordingly in preparation of appropriate sale strategies.
o Determine appropriate market segments towards maximizing hotel revenues.
o Responsibility in maximizing the occupancy of conference and banquettes at the resort.
o Create sales targets and networks with corporate clients, airlines, tourist offices and related fields.
o Observe the market for relevant trends, monitoring competitors and the tide of events.
o Contribute to the price strategy aligned with the revenue manager for hotel pricing and promotion
o Maintain an up to date knowledge of the hotel daily services, activities, promotion, and event. Effectively communicate and update all team members on any changes to ensure guests receive up-to-date information.
o Continually focus on the rejuvenation of Experiences by keeping abreast of industry trends and practices, update knowledge and skills to improve the product and service offering.
o Reviews and prepares monthly financial reports, budget forecasting, expenditure reports for higher management review.
o Ensures that all activities are carried out honestly, ethically and within the parameters of local law.
o As directed, participate in trade shows, conventions and promotional events, within the hotel, the industry and customer organizations
o Ensure all team members recognizes the importance of Forbes standards as to deliver excellent audit and service performance.
o Analyze guest feedback from direct feedback, comment card or any online reviews and providing strategic direction to continuously improve overall rating.
o Maintains strong working relationships with other departments to ensure effective communications for operational issues, serves as a role model for inter-departmental collaboration and support
o Empower team members to take ownership and responsibility in going beyond to exceed guest expectations. Delegate responsibility and expect accountability and regular feedback.
o Monitor performances team members and provide effective performance feedback for improvements, recognition and performance appraisal as due.
o Mentor and guide individual team members’ growth and identify short to long-term goals to achieve and ensure high colleague engagement and welfare.
o Participate in recruitment activities such as interviewing new talents for the departments and succession planning.
o Take ownership of individual’s growth and be involved in career progression and succession planning of team members.
o Proactively identify training needs of team members to ensure enhancement and performance improvement.
o Maintain an image of professional senior management to all guests, team members and the hotel.

o Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing or Revenue Management
o Minimum 5 years’ experiences in similar role in luxury hotels/resort
