Director Supply Chain Network Development

Role:

The Supply Chain Network Design Senior Director is responsible for designing the future supply chain for our rapidly growing company. This role is pivotal in ensuring our supply chain can respond with agility to changing conditions and meet the capacity needs of our growth projections. The role encompasses long term decisions that drive structural changes to the supply chain and medium-term maintenance of network and capacity plans to ensure supply continuity across the globe.

Responsibilities:

• Supply Chain Network Design: Design a supply chain network that balances service levels, cost efficiency, and resilience to disruptions by optimizing the sizing and placement of our manufacturing OEMs, in alignment to SN’s portfolio strategies and growth plans

• Supply Chain Resilience: responsibility for supply chain resilience by providing transparency to the company's supply chain, identification of potential risk causes, probabilities and maintenance of the responses prepared for in the event of risk events.

• Responsible Supply Chain: Play a key role in ensuring the visibility of and reduction of Scope 3 emissions in our supply chain and to ensure the principles that drive our supply chain design align with our corporate social responsibility decisions.

• Business Case ownership: Establish robust business cases for supply chain initiatives, demonstrating a strong understanding of financial principles via feasibility studies that inform future supply chain decisions.

• Cross-functional collaboration: Work alongside supply chain operations, logistics, and procurement teams to ensure supply chain alignment enables the company to grow in an optimized way.

• Project Management: Manage Project Managers, Supply Chain Engineers, and Analysts as they design, develop, ramp and in some cases transfer manufacturing across locations.

• Innovation: Flawlessly develop and introduce new products, processes, and systems to production, both on time and on budget.

• 15+ years of experience in the industry

• Experience in various supply chain roles would be viewed favourably

• Familiarity with supply chain planning methodologies such as “demand driven planning”

• Familiarity with leading network optimization tools

• The ability to influence senior peers, steer company investment decisions, and inform commercially grounded decision making

• Strong analytical skills and high level of organization

• Excellent problem-solving mindset and demonstrated leadership abilities and interpersonal skills

• Rigorous attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively

• Understanding of distribution and logistics

• Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) software

• Insight into economic conditions and market dynamics

• Ability to negotiate with suppliers and distributors

• Comfort with leading and training employees
