EHS Officer

Job summary:

General overview of facility with EHS focus.

Main responsibilities and duties:

- Comply all policies, regulation, standard of company and Vietnam government law Care for hygiene matters (canteen, cleaners, toilets, security, garbage, waste …)

- Make and implement safety related plans (evacuation drills, regular inspections, ...) and training (first aid, fire response, ...)

- Identify risks and unsafe conditions, unsafe jobs and propose corrective and preventive measures.

- Maintain system ISO14001 & ISO 45001

- Cooperate with Maintenance for general facility upkeeping (testing hydrants, testing sprinklers, small jobs like fixing doors and leaking taps, ensuring emergency exits are free and functional…).

- Manage PPE rules for each area of the factory and distribution of PPE.

- Enforce EH&S rules and discipline.

- Carry our Kaizens in EHS field.

- Other tasks assigned by the manager.

Knowledge required:

1. Good knowledge of EHS (Intermediate/ College).

2. Have capability of working independently.

3. Can communicate in English

4. Experience: At least 3 years’ experience of EHS in manufacturing.

5. Computer skills: MS- Office applications (Excel, Word and PowerPoints).

6. Interpersonal skills: Cautiousness, promptness, good communication skill, result-oriented, continuous improvement mindset.

7. Good knowledge & good at safety and ISO 14001, ISO45001, 5S.
