• Position Summary: The Electrical/Automation Engineer is responsible for operating, maintaining, and improving the plant’s electrical, control, and automation systems to ensure equipment reliability, reduce machine downtime, and support TPM implementation, productivity, and quality improvement.

• Working under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager, the engineer handles electrical and automation maintenance, performs PM/CM activities, troubleshoots electrical/PLC issues, optimizes systems, and supports technical projects.

Responsibilities:

● Perform maintenance and repair of electrical systems, PLCs, sensors, inverters, servo motors, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

● Program, modify, and optimize PLC/HMI logic based on production needs

● Support installation of new machines and production lines with vendors according to company standards.

● Conduct root cause analysis and define preventive actions to reduce breakdowns.

● Execute scheduled PM to ensure stable operation and required KPI performance.

● Perform periodic electrical safety checks and comply with EHS requirements.

● Assist in managing and recommending spare parts lists for electrical and automation components.

● Support TPM implementation, equipment improvement, downtime reduction, and maintenance cost optimization.

● Manage, operate, and maintain injection molding machines (Marubeni, JSW, Haitian, or other OEM).

● Coordinate with vendors for equipment repair, warranty, and upgrades.

● Able to supervise approximately five to ten employees.

● Participate in 5S, EMS, and quality improvement activities

Skills/personal qualifications:

• Independently, and working with others, able to generate new ideas

• Demonstrated sense of urgency; takes prompt action to accomplish goals.

• College/University degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Electricity, Automation engineering, or Mechatronics.

• English communication is an advance.

Education and Certifications:

• Graduated an electrical, mechanical or industrial engineering

Experience

● 1–3 years of experience in electrical/automation maintenance in a manufacturing environment.

● Knowledge of PLCs (Siemens/Omron/Mitsubishi), inverters, servo systems, sensors, pneumatic/hydraulic systems.

● Ability to read electrical drawings and control diagrams.

● Troubleshoot injection machine alarms, sensors, heaters, hydraulic valves, motors, PLCs.

● Experienced in troubleshooting and equipment improvement

You will need to be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation, including:

● Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, meeting rooms, copier/printer etc as well as have the ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time

● Required to retrieve or reposition products like sewing machines weighing up to 50 pounds

● Any additional physical requirements
