Electrical Controlling Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified Electrical Controlling Engineer to support electrical control system design, programming, installation, and commissioning for our manufacturing and project operations in Vietnam. This role works closely with production, project, and overseas teams to ensure reliable and safe electrical control systems.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Control & Design

• Design and review electrical control schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts.

• Select electrical components including PLCs, relays, sensors, VFDs, MCCs, and protection devices.

• Ensure electrical designs comply with IEC, UL, and relevant Vietnam regulations.

Programming & System Integration

• Develop and maintain PLC programs (Siemens, Schneider, Allen-Bradley, Omron, or equivalent).

• Design and configure HMI / SCADA systems.

• Integrate control systems with EMS, BMS, or other industrial systems.

Installation, Testing & Commissioning

• Support electrical panel assembly and factory acceptance testing (FAT).

• Perform on-site installation supervision, testing, and commissioning.

• Troubleshoot electrical and control system issues during startup and operation.

Operation Support & Documentation

• Provide technical support to factory operations and maintenance teams.

• Prepare electrical drawings, manuals, and technical documentation.

• Support training for local technicians and operators.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and company procedures.

• Support internal and external audits, inspections, and certifications if required.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field.

Experience

• 3–5 years of experience in electrical control or automation engineering.

• Experience in manufacturing plants, electrical panels, energy systems, data centers, or EV infrastructure is an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Solid understanding of electrical control systems and low-voltage power distribution.

• Hands-on PLC programming and troubleshooting experience.

• Familiar with AutoCAD or EPLAN for electrical drawings.

• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, TCP/IP, Profibus, CAN).

Language & Communication

• Ability to communicate in English for technical discussions and documentation.

• Vietnamese language is required; Chinese is a plus.
