POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for the maintenance of all electrical Systems and devices, promoting safe, environmentally friendly and effective maintenance practices within the electrical section. Assist in other areas of the plant as assigned.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties and responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:

• Perform maintenance duties in a safe, environmentally friendly and workmanlike manner.

• Assist in the electrical repair and maintenance of all plant’s electrical systems including device, apparatus, controls, switches, switchgear, motor control centers, batteries, battery chargers, voltage regulators, plant generators, transformers, mortor, protection relays and related electrical equipment.

• Support to update Electrical related technical documentation, CMMS and reports.

• Perform other comparable and related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

• 2 - 3 years vocational / technical school diploma or equivalent level of experience required.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in plant maintenance or equivalent industrial environment including electrical equipment and maintenance work planning.

• Available to work overtime, weekends and shift work if necessary.

• Ability to support conducting planning and problem analysis regarding EE Part of the supercritical coal power plant.

• Interpret PLC ladder drawing, Electrical single line drawing and Electrical circuit.

• Familiar with periodic maintenance, Visual inspection and P&ID drawing for electrical facilities such as GIS, Power transformers, Circuit breaker (GCB, VCB, ACB), Motor control center (MCC), Isolated Phase Bus, MV/LV switchgear, MOV, Electrical Actuator, Exciter controller, Generator, UPS, AVR etc.

• Prefer a certificate of completion on PLC systems, Computer science, Rotating machinery vibration theory and Thermal dynamic theory.

• Prefer a certificate of completion on Environmental facilities such as FGD, SCR, EP (Electrical Precipitation).

• Prefer a certificate of completion for training courses on Super critical Coal power plant such as Turbine, Boiler, Generator or Electrical Facilities of power plant.

• Prefer a certificate of completion for training courses on Electrical facilities such as Protection Relay System, Transformer, Motor, Circuit Breaker, Generator, Exciter, UPS, MOV.

• Upper beginner level communication skills in the English language (written and verbal). Able to response using basic grammar & vocabulary.
