Enablement Engineer - Fullstack Engineer

Position Overview

The Enablement Engineer plays a key role in enhancing developer productivity, streamlining engineering work ows, and building internal tools that empower teams to deliver high-quality software e ciently. This role focuses on microservices architecture, serverless development, and developer enablement, while also having expertise in Node.js, PostgreSQL, and full-stack technologies like React.js/Next.js, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.

This individual will collaborate closely with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to create scalable solutions, optimize internal tooling, and drive best practices across the development lifecycle.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Developer Enablement & Tooling

• Design and build internal tools, developer portals, and automation scripts to improve developer experience.

• Develop and maintain CLI tools, APIs, and dashboards that enhance productivity.

• Advocate for best practices in code quality, performance optimization, and observability.

Microservices & Serverless Development

• Architect, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Node.js.

• Implement Serverless solutions using AWS Lambda or similar technologies.

• Ensure seamless API development and integration for internal and external services.

Full-Stack Engineering Support

• Assist in building and maintaining front-end interfaces using React.js, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Work with backend and frontend teams to create end-to-end solutions for internal tools and enablement platforms.

Infrastructure & Performance Optimization

• Optimize database performance and queries in PostgreSQL.

• Collaborate with DevOps teams to improve CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and deployment strategies.

• Monitor and enhance application observability, logging, and tracing.

Collaboration & Process Improvement

• Work closely with engineers across di erent teams to identify bottlenecks and improve work ows.

• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and best practice recommendations.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies in serverless, microservices, and full-stack development.

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering, focusing on developer enablement and backend services.

• Strong expertise in:

• Microservices architecture and Node.js development.

• Serverless computing (AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, or equivalent).

• Relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL (performance tuning, indexing, optimization).

• RESTful API and GraphQL development.

• Familiarity with full-stack technologies:

• React.js, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.

• Frontend performance optimization and responsive UI design.

• Experience with DevOps & Cloud tools:

• CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Argo CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline).

• Infrastructure as Code (Pulumi, Terraform, AWS CloudFormation).

• Monitoring and logging tools (Datadog, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry).

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex distributed systems.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.

• Passion for developer experience and productivity.

• A proactive mindset with a focus on automation and continuous improvement.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment.

• Experience with Event-Driven Architecture (Kafka, SNS/SQS, or similar).

• Exposure to containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

• Knowledge of feature flagging systems and A/B testing tools.
