Engineering Coordinator

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create and manage the Master Schedule of all deliverables of the Engineering Department, reflecting the company’s tactical direction and design/development priorities.

• Work closely with all of the Engineering Team’s internal customers, including Design Teams, Product Lifecycle Management, Product Development, and Customer Service, to understand their needs, requirements, and priorities, and to prioritize engineering tasks as needed.

• Coordinate all CAD drawings, assign drawing jobs to engineers, follow up as needed.

• Manage workload among the team of CAD engineers.

• Push urgent drawing jobs to completion.

• Track and summarize all engineers’ work status and manage issues as they arise.

• Document all CAD drawings in the company systems, participate in full-scale reviews and other product development meetings to see engineering projects through to completion.

• Recap and visualize Engineering team members’ tasks and work performance to support management and lead engineers.

• Facilitate resolution of engineering topics in case goods and upholstery by working closely with lead engineers and involving management and stakeholders as appropriate.

• Assist the Engineering Manager liaising between CAD and field engineers, establishing effective feedback loops between engineering, sampling, and engineering audits, and escalating pending engineering issues.

• Relevant working experience in a similar position in home furnishings / furniture industry.

• CAD engineering background an asset.

• Keen eye for reading and interpreting 2D/3D drawings.

• Strong understanding of production structure and process.

• Knowledge in product / material standard sizing.

• Good communication in groups and works well in a team environment.

• Organized, self-motivated and enthusiastic individual who enjoys new challenges.

• Proficient in the use of computer software – office and product databases.

• Frequent travel between factories in Binh Duong, our PD lab in Thu Duc District and our office in Thao Dien.

• English and Vietnamese speaking is a must, Chinese-speaking an asset.
