Engineering/Production Drafting Technician

1. Main accountability

Responsibilities :

Ensuring and developing work instructions for production teams of various models. Create/modify Technical drawings of systems or components as needed. Supporting and co-operating with other design staff.

Key tasks

A. Work Instructions:

• Create work instructions for processes for various production teams on a variety of different assembles. Giving recommendations for improvements

• Observing workers on the job maybe required also consulting with production line managers and QC department along with workers to gather and evaluate information suitable for instructions.

B. Production process

• Understanding assembly of key systems will be of great benefit to build work instructions. So time spent with production line members will be helpful and working with QC department also will help build knowledge and understanding of processes and assemblies.

C. Other tasks :

• At times technical drawings will need to made for systems or components and supporting other members of the design department.

Knowledge:

• Knowledge about mechanical or production environment, priority is given to candidates with composite knowledge.

• Broad knowledge regarding materials and assembly techniques.

Experience:

• At least 2 years in production environment

• Experience as supervisor.

Skills:

• Computer skill: Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Autocad, Rhino, SolidWorks an advantage

• Language skill: good at English (Listening, Speaking, Writing and Reading).

• Communication skill.
