ERP Application Engineer

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

* Job Scope:

- To make the organization use ERP system in an optimum manner

- Taking part in the Key-user Team for VDL ETG Vietnam to secure continuous improvement and sustainability of ERP processes and use in whole factory

- Be the representative for VDL ETG Vietnam in the Global Supply Chain Board to secure connectivity with global improvements and resource allocation for VDL ETG Vietnam

- Ensure together with IT administrator the compliance of the VDL ETG Vietnam with the One ETG in ERP system and to support the improvement thereof

* Tasks:

- The department representatives in the Key-user group are the first escalation point for operational issues in ERP use within their departments. The ERP Application Engineer act as second escalation point together with the ERP/IT Administrator

- Act as final escalation point in VDL ETG Vietnam for operational ERP use issues. If no solution can be found connect to external support from IT or Global ERP Application Engineer Group

- Participate in the Global Supply Chain Board as representative of Vietnam, stay connected with ongoing improvements and functionality changes

- Discuss the input from Global Supply Chain Board (GSCB) in the key user group and validate new initiatives

- Out of Global Supply Chain Board (GSCB) and Global ERP team cooperate and make sure Vietnam is up to date as One ETG system and drive equality for all ETG sites globally

- Understand the needs out of factory and organization and translate them into initiatives to develop system driven solutions to support the performance

- Fulfill the requirements for any related works assigned by company.

Education:

Bachelor Degree

Preference:

Must have extensive knowledge and understanding of all operational processes across the business functions in VDL ETG Vietnam that are managed through the ERP system

Critical Competences:

- Professional level of speaking and writing in English is required for communication with global IT-team & counterparts located in Singapore and Netherlands

- Strong analytical skills, drawing conclusions based on facts

- Strong Project Management skills, organized and structured way of working

- Problem solving skills, thinking from user-problems to solutions

- High sense of ownership

Computer Literate:

- Minimum 8 years ERP-system user all-round experience (SAP/Oracle/Baan system)

- High skilled Microsoft Office - Excel user

- Microsoft Office -Excel

- Skilled in Macro writing and usage

- Skilled in writing basic programming language
