ESG Coordinator

1. Purpose of the Role

The ESG Coordinator supports the implementation and continuous improvement of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) programs across the factory operations. This role ensures compliance with internal policies, customer standards, and international certifications (e.g., GRS, Higg FEM, MRSL) while driving employee engagement and sustainable development initiatives.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. ESG Training and Awareness

- Coordinate and deliver training programs on Health & Safety, Environment, and Social Responsibility.

- Prepare training materials, video, and awareness campaigns for all factory levels.

- Record, monitor, and evaluate training effectiveness with regular reporting to direct superior.

B. Supply Chain Compliance Control

- Monitor supplier compliance with ESG, labor, and environmental standards in alignment with customer and Group requirements.

- Support internal and external audits, including documentation and corrective action follow-up.

C. Chemical Management & MRSL Compliance

- Control and monitor all chemical usage within the facility to ensure compliance with ZDHC MRSL, brand RSL/MRSL, and local environmental regulations.

- Support chemical inventory management, SDS documentation, and periodic review of supplier chemical conformity certificates.

- Participate in risk assessments, chemical substitution programs, and training sessions for responsible chemical handling.

D. GRS Certification Maintenance and Customer audit

- Maintain and renew Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certification by ensuring traceability of recycled materials and proper documentation control.

- Collect and verify supplier GRS transaction certificates (TCs) and related records.

- Coordinate with certification bodies during annual audits and follow up on findings on GRS and others.

E. ESG Data Control and Reporting

- Manage ESG data collection (energy, water, waste, chemical, safety, social indicators) through the company’s ESG Data Management System.

- Ensure accuracy and timely submission of data for ESG Dashboard, partner platforms.

- Support data visualization and performance tracking via Power BI dashboards or equivalent tools.

F. ESG Activities and Communication

- Coordinate ESG and community activities.

- Prepare internal communications, posters, and materials to promote sustainability awareness.

- Support ESG documentation for customer visits, reporting, and audits.

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or a related field.

• 1–2 years of experience in environmental operations, ESG Coordinator or compliance roles in manufacturing.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with document control systems is a plus.

• Able to work on-site and coordinate with multiple departments.

• Good at English
