Estimation Engineer

CSW Industrials (Nasdaq: CSWI) an US publicly traded company in Nasdaq stock market with approx. $6B market cap that serves a variety of HVAC end markets through 3 business units - Contractor Solutions, Engineered Building Solutions and Specialized Reliability Solutions. We’re having significant manufacturing base in Nhon Trach 1 Industrial Zone, Dong Nai named T.A Vietnam.

We’re looking for Estimation Engineer who will contribute and manage daily blueprint takeoff workflow, quote generation, and supporting quote activities for sales team. The major responsibility will be providing commercial takeoff quotations on Shoemaker and TRUaire lines in accordance with the sales strategy. The ideal candidate will also troubleshoot designs, provide technical product selection guidance, and follow-up on job quote opportunities.

Job Overview and Core Responsibilities:

• Identify, locate, count and generating quote on all Air Devices including Grilles, Registers, Diffusers, Dampers, Louvers, Fire dampers, etc. found on mechanical plans.

• Apply competitive cross reference, pricing, and lead time strategy on quote generation.

• Ensure compliance of selections with industry standards and regulations

• Providing technical guidance on GRD Selection to sales team, customers and other team members

• Maintain and organize team inbox for workflow management

• Maintains accurate, complete, and timely information on productivity, capacity, and resource utilization.

• Overcomes business and technical objections of prospective customers.

• Lead the execution of processes and programs to enhance customer experience and increase quote conversions.

• Collaborate with other departments to handle sales, marketing, inquiries, and deliveries efficiently.

• Identify growth opportunities and market trends.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• 3 years’ experience in providing counts from blueprints / plan sets

• Ability to ready and understand mechanical plan sets

• Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to professionally communicate in English.

• Proficiency with MS Office suite products (Outlook, Word, Excel) and takeoff software (Bluebeam or similar)

Preferred Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

• Excellent understanding of HVAC engineering and design principals

• Experience in estimating/quoting or administration roles
