Executive Accountant

I. GENERAL INFORMATION

1. Job Title: Executive Accountant

2. Report to: Finance Manager

3. Working Location: Phu My 3 Specialized Industrial Park, Ba Ria & Vung Tau Province, Vietnam (Shuttle bus will be provided from 3 locations: Ho Chi Minh City, Bien Hoa City, and Vung Tau City)

II. SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

- This role supports daily accounting operations, month-end and year-end closing, financial reporting preparation

III. TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Banking and Cash Management

• Prepare weekly and monthly cash flow forecast and reporting

• Perform bank payments and reconcilition

• Monitor cash balances and coordinate for fund transfers and foreign exchange transactions.

2. Tax Support

• Prepare data and documentation for monthly and quarterly tax declarations (VAT, PIT, CIT, WHT, etc.).

• Support external tax consultants and authorities during audits and filings.

3. Financial Reporting and Closing

• In charge of month-end and year-end closing activities.

• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Assist in preparing financial statements and internal management reports in compliance with local as well as IFRS standards.

• Provide documentation and schedules for internal and external audits.

4. Financial Analysis

• Support variance analysis between actual and forecast

• Provide data and analysis for management decisions (e.g., cost trends, expense control, receivable and payable performance) through business inteligence tools like Power BI

• Contribute to improving financial visibility and control through dashboards or reports.

• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance financial efficiency.

5. D365 System Knowledge and Process Improvement

• Build strong working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) accounting and reporting modules.

• Support continuous improvement of accounting workflows within D365 to enhance data accuracy and process efficiency.

IV. ABOUT THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a multinational or manufacturing environment.

- Solid understanding of accounting principles (knowledge of VAS/IFRS is an advantage).

- Hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).

- Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI for financial data analysis and reporting
