Facilities Engineer

Position Overview

We are looking for a Facilities Engineer to support the setup, installation, and operational readiness of our new semiconductor manufacturing facility. This role will be central in managing the factory layout, infrastructure systems, and equipment installation activities to ensure a safe, efficient, and scalable manufacturing environment.

The Facilities Engineer will also be given access to all equipment specifications and manuals to begin understanding the utilities, facility requirements, and support systems needed for smooth commissioning and ongoing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning, design, and execution of the factory layout, including production areas, cleanroom zones, offices, and support facilities.

• Coordinate and monitor installation of facility systems such as electrical, HVAC, compressed air, DI water, exhaust, and other critical utilities.

• Work closely with equipment suppliers and contractors to ensure compliance with site requirements and technical specifications.

• Review and maintain equipment installation manuals, drawings, and specifications to prepare for tool hookup and facility readiness.

• Support and manage preventive maintenance programs for facility systems and utilities.

• Ensure all facility systems comply with environmental, health, and safety regulations.

• Assist with commissioning and startup of new tools and infrastructure systems.

• Maintain accurate facility documentation, as-built drawings, and utility schematics.

• Coordinate with local contractors and vendors for site services and maintenance activities.

• Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for facility-related issues.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Facilities, or Industrial Engineering.

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in facilities engineering, preferably in semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing.

• Familiar with cleanroom design, tool installation, and factory utility systems.

• Working knowledge of electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems.

• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and equipment manuals.

• Hands-on, practical approach to problem-solving and coordination.

• Good communication and project management skills; able to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external contractors.
