Product Manager (Failure Analysis) - Good English

Product Manager (Failure analysis) is a professional responsible for overseeing and managing the failure analysis process within a company or organization. The primary goal is to identify and understand the root causes of failures in products, processes, or systems to prevent recurrence and improve overall reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leading and managing a team of failure analysis engineers and technicians.

2. Develop and implement strategies for failure analysis processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

3. Oversee and participate in the investigation of product or process failures to determine the root cause. This may involve collaboration with cross-functional teams.

4. Ensure proper documentation of failure analysis procedures, methodologies, and results. Maintain accurate records for future reference and continuous improvement.

5. Implement and enforce quality control measures to prevent and detect failures early in the production or development process..

6. Work closely with customer to understand their requirement and enhance team skills to meet the requirement.

7. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in product design, manufacturing processes, and quality control based on lessons learned from failure analysis.

1. Educational background:

• Graduate with at least Bachelor Degree of: Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunication, Industrial Automation Engineering or related majors.

2. Experiences and skills:

• 8 years of experience in failure analysis, preferably in a managerial or leadership role.

• Strong leadership and management abilities to guide and inspire a team of engineers and technicians.

• Strong communication and Problem-Solving

• Very good knowledge of electronic components, circuits, SMT and generic assembly process.

• Very good failure analysis skill.

• Strong knowledge in using equipment including, but not limited to, LCR, digital multi-meters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, microscopes, X-ray.

• Good verbal & written (English) communication skills.
