Field Applications Engineer

Job Description:

• Assisting the sales team to meet or exceed sales quota, through hands-on technical expertise of test & measurement equipment.

• Resolving or driving to resolve the daily application issues of Genetron test & measurement products.

• Identifying new customer applications and matching them with Genetron’s offering.

• Maintaining, and achieving a high level of customer satisfaction.

• Supporting multiple phases of the sales process including requirements analysis, feature-by-feature product demonstrations, test benchmarks, competitive positioning, and implementation/execution of customer training events.

• Understanding customer’s problems and recommending solutions to meet their needs.

• Possessing good technical, product and market knowledge in DC/AC power supplies, DC/AC electronic loads, digital oscilloscope, arbitrary waveform/signal generator, spectrum analyzer and vector network analyzer.

• Delivering customer training classes and hands-on product demonstrations.

• Provide after sales application supports, troubleshoot and repair failure equipment.

• Articulate customer interests and requirements to the management in order to expand our market share and enhance customer satisfaction.

• Developing face-to-face technical relationships with key technical influencers.

• Interest in electronics & science to continue learning/growing.

• Degree in electronics or science.

• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience.

• Hands-on experience using DC/AC power supplies, DC/AC electronic loads, digital oscilloscope, arbitrary waveform/signal generator, spectrum analyser, vector network analyser or similar test and measurement equipment.

• Excellent in analytical skills.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
