As an expert in more than one of the environmental areas (carbon/renewable energy, waste/zero landfill, water, wastewater/chemicals), support and manage the roll-out of and monitor adidas’ environmental supply chain strategy, program, and targets for suppliers.
[Key Responsibilities]
• Manage and implement adidas’ environmental supply chain strategy, program ], and targets for both T1 and T2 suppliers. Provide the guidance to the suppliers on technical issues around energy, waste, water, chemical management and/or wastewater in the Global Supply Chain.
• Ensures facilities fulfil all adidas' environmental programs, requirements, and targets.
• Identify the areas of risk and provide recommendations in respect of those risks, based on legal obligations, strategic commitments and/or environment requirements
• Analyze the environmental indicators to track performance of suppliers and provide business partners with clear summary on supplier performance under his/her coverage.
• Provide guidance, capacity building, and technical knowledge to facilities on all environmental issues to drive improvements.
• Identify training needs of the supply chain and provide training and conduct regular advisory to ensure suppliers meet reporting deadlines in the sustainability systems.
• Support roll-out of the adidas' supply chain environmental management programmes in your key countries in collaboration with key functions within adidas.
• Increase internal awareness and knowledge about adidas' environmental program achievements.
